Welcome to our live coverage of the third and final T20 international between Pakistan and South Africa at Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday (December 14, 2024). A sparkling century from opener Reeza Hendricks, his first in T20Is, and Rassie van der Dussen's unbeaten 38-ball 66 were the cornerstones of the hosts' victory in the second game, as they chased down a 207-run target with seven wickets to spare in 19.3 overs.
With that, South Africa ensured that they won a bilateral T20I series for the first time in more than two years. The Proteas had come into the second game after winning the first T20I on the back of a David Miller masterclass and George Linde’s all-round display.
Now, the top four teams have entered the semifinals and the last two teams will have to fight for the fifth spot on the table. India have won all of their five matches. Pakistan are second with two wins and two draws.
